Position Summary: Responsible for growing brand presence by leading the inbound and outbound consumer marketing strategy.

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for creating and driving the execution of a variety of revenue generating marketing programs
  • Work in conjunction with Donor Recruitment and members of Marketing team to successfully drive programs needed to support donor registration growth objectives

Required Skills:

  • Generate relevant and meaningful content (blog posts, white papers, PowerPoint, tweets, etc.)
  • Must be hands-on and oversee projects from concept to implementation and management, and have a proven track record of simultaneously managing and delivering multiple successful lead campaigns
  • Plan, execute, and lead campaigns, programs, survey and specialized content with input from the Director of Marketing
  • Analyze campaigns and programs for effectiveness; conduct marketing programs reporting and analysis
  • Leverage social networks  and enhance campaign performance
  • Collaborate closely with all internal departments to assure programs meet business objectives
  • Assist in specific communications materials: case studies, blogs, online communications, website copy
  • Plan and track marketing budget

Position Summary:

The Request Management Department consists of four teams (Confirmatory Typing, Workup, Follow Up and Transport Operations) that comprise the four stages of the unrelated bone marrow donor search and collection process. The Donor Follow Up Coordinator works in the Follow Up Team with unrelated donors at the final stage of the donor and patient matching process.  The Donor Follow Up Coordinator facilitates all aspects of post-donation follow up of blood stem cell and marrow donors.

Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate post-donation medical follow up with donors including
    • Administering and evaluating verbal health assessments at proscribed intervals following donation
    • Handling post donation adverse events
    • Coordinating post donation medical appointments as needed
    • Ensuring timely and accurate entry and submission of electronic donor medical and follow up records
    • Providing assistance for problem form resolution and error correction processing
  • Coordinate post-donation patient and donor contact
  • Ensure compliance with all standards, policies, procedures, and documentation requirements set by DKMS, registries, and regulatory authorities
  • Ad hoc projects
  • Occasional travel may be necessary


Requirements/Qualifications:

Because the candidate will be working with donors on a daily basis, it is essential to have excellent communication and active listening skills. The ideal candidate must be highly organized and detail oriented. Accuracy in reviewing and completing data forms and case note documentation is essential.

  • Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree preferred
  • Two years work experience required; experience in a healthcare setting is preferred
  • Knowledge of medical terminology, case-note documentation, and conducting medical histories is preferred
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work in a team environment
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Very proactive work ethic and the ability to diligently meet targets
  • Must be detailed oriented, highly organized and able to multitask efficiently
  • Flexible, entrepreneurial spirit
