Delete Blood Cancer DKMS is part of DKMS, the world’s largest bone marrow donor center with more than 4 million registered donors, more than 40,000 of whom have helped save lives by donating marrow or peripheral blood stem cells. Within the U.S., Delete Blood Cancer has registered more than 500,000 donors and facilitated over 1,500 donations.
National Marrow Donor Program (NMDP)
Since 1992, Delete Blood Cancer has been an officially accredited part of the Be The Match Registry® (operated by the National Marrow Donor Program) and meets annual NMDP compliance requirements. More than 35 percent of the NMDP’s registered donors are from Delete Blood Cancer and its international branches.
Internal Revenue Service Non-Profit Status
The Internal Revenue Service (IRS) has determined that DKMS Americas (doing business as: Delete Blood Cancer DKMS) be exempt from Federal income tax as an organization described in Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code (the “Code”) and a public charity under Code Section 509(a)(1). Contributions are tax-deductible to the extent allowable by law. The tax-deductible amount permitted for any contribution is limited to the excess of the contribution above the value of any goods or services received.
